ELVIRA SCHERGER
PILATISTIC® Instructor
Elvira Scherger, German native, has been teaching Pilates over 20 years now, and believes in the power of Pilates for everybody.
She started practicing Pilates in 2002, while she was working as a midwife. She was amazed at how Pilates could strengthen the body, improve posture, and alleviate back discomfort, as well as pelvic floor problems in ways that other Fitness approaches could not. She found out that this great Method is perfect for women after giving birth to strengthen the deep postural muscles that support the alignment and the pelvic floor. Thus, Pilates became a part of her midwifery in both, postnatal as well as antenatal care.
Elvira has completed her comprehensive Pilates training at Davorka’s Studio “Pilates New York” (Romana’s Pilates lineage), in Stuttgart, and continued her studies collaborating with The Pilates Studio, in Frankfurt.
Since Pilates is a never-ending learning curve, now she continues finetuning her practice and teachings skills with founders of PILATISTIC®, Marian and Miguel, as well taking workshops with other Pilates instructors from all over the world.
