Marian Tarín is a world- renowned teacher of teachers and a multilingual freelance journalist who unites these two professions transforming the Pilates Method into an unparalleled science of communication and exploration of physical, mental and emotional self-knowledge. Among many others, Marian has been featured in the leading magazine PILATES STYLE and has written the article“Accomplished Man of Excellence”, published in Ph.D. Peter Fiasca’s book VOICES II: The Men’s Work, an inspiring collection of essays written by renowned international Pilates teachers.
College Professor Miguel Jorge is World Champion Aerobics’ Coach (USA, 1996). With more than 50 years of experience in the fields of sports, health and body conditioning, including a career as a professional athlete and trainer of indoor football, surf, water polo and rhythmic gymnastics, Miguel has not suffered from any injury through his entire life’s work. His vast knowledge in sports competition, exercise and movement makes him a one of a kind Pilates teacher.
Marian and Miguel share their unique perspective of health and movement at conferences and events around the world. The global perspective of the Pilates Method acquired abroad drove them to create the topnotch masters’ degree PILATISTIC®. Marian Tarín and Miguel Jorge teach this transformative 3-day event which resulted into a breakthrough learning experience. The fundamentals of PILATISTIC® were passed on to the attendees through an intensive weekend where the main goal was to bring back the functioning of Joe’s studio in New York. The principles of “self-sufficiency” and “education” which Marian and Miguel carry on determinedly were key to successfully revive Joseph’s Pilates “Contrology Gymnasium”.
The organizers, Alexandre Luzzi and Fernanda Miasiro (Tai Ken Pilates) and Adriana Coldebella chose a spectacular location of an unparallel beauty. The stunning nature of Atibaia was the perfect scene for the outdoor workouts, resembling the old days when Joe taught in the open air at Jacobs’ Pillow Summer Festival.
From this weekend on, the Pilates vision of each of those present in this unique encounter has never been the same!

Rodrigo Nanô, pioneer organizer of Pilates Conferences and Pilates equipment manufacturer in Brazil, invites Marian Tarín to teach an intensive workshop weekend for instructors at his studio and training center in Sao Paulo.
This was the second time that Rodrigo asked Marian to guest teach. The year before, in October 2017, Marian presented at the world renown Classical Pilates Conference Brazil organized by Nanô Pilates. Due to the overwhelming reception that Marian received from the community and attendees- she was considered the “revelation trophy” of the event (nicknamed like this in social media)-, in this occasion, Rodrigo invited her to teach at a more exclusive and intimate setting. Rodrigo’s two floor full equipped studio was the perfect scenario for a superb teaching and learning experience.

Marian’s communicative skills, Miguel’s athletic style and Peter’s scientific approach made this encounter a unique learning experience. The weekend schedule included Mat classes, seminars and a Q&A Circle, where attendees could clarify their doubts directly with the presenters.
